The partnership is designed to support millions of mothers who are coping with humanitarian crises.The C&A Foundation will grant Save the Children up to €3 million each year to focus on disaster preparedness and immediate responses to emergencies as they arise.C&A will also involve its employees and customers in supporting the partnership. It has nearly 2,000 stores in 24 countries worldwide and around 60,000 employees.Why consolidate with Save the Children?Both C&A and C&A Foundation have a track record in supporting humanitarian relief efforts through various partnerships worldwide. Both have supported Save the Children’s response to crises such as Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and Ebola in Sierra Leone.The charity also operates in C&A and the C&A Foundation’s key locations including Europe, China, Mexico, Brazil and C&A’s sourcing countries.
